Six days of sun, one day overcast. Six days of biking and hiking. Re: biking - smooth pavement, courteous drivers, some wind at your back side, or front. Hills are great going down, but be prepared to work going up. Of course the reward going up may be a town at the top for lunch! Our experience: about 50 km/day average, 2 flats, 1 spill (wear your helmet!), great lunches, no weight gain, great sleeping at night. We used racing bikes, although we thought about hybrids. I believe racing bike is better, especially for hill climbing. Very comfortable apartment. (U.S.A.)

The location of the apartment is perfect: it is close to everything and has easy access in/out of town to explore the countryside.
